While adults can use the book as a source for the lyrics, the lack of contrast between background and fonts, and cluttered images or decoration create pages that are challenging to read. The CD is essential to the book, as no musical notation is included, and it is definitely the highlight of this collaboration. With vocals by Lisa Loeb, Dan Petty, Michelle Lewis, and the Campers, joining acoustic guitar, bass, drums, piano or keyboard, the recording presents a varied collection of songs to encourage participation from a rhythmic stomp ("Everybody Wake Up") to a lyric sun salutation with yoga movement ("Hello Today").
