This board book emphasizes the fun of learning with colors, shapes, and numbers for children headed to daycare or preschool to explore. An interactive wheel peeks through each page, allowing children to match the story to the images. The rhyme scheme is a bit clunky to read out loud, but the imagery and message are suitable for those who may be going off to school for the first time.
VERDICT With simple and vibrant illustrations, this is an suitable additional purchase for most libraries.
