PreS-K—These 10 gentle, soothing folk melodies, three of them instrumental, come from various Latin countries including Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, and Colombia. All vocal and instrumental performances, which include piano, harp, guitar, flute, and strings, are lovely. The playlist includes "Éste era un Conejo" (Julieta Szewach), "Canción de Cuna" (Maruca), "Noite de Lembrar" (Márcio Faraco), "A Jardineira" (Reginaldo Frazatto, Jr.), "Cucurrucucú Paloma" (Amanda Martinez), "El Eco" (Los Incas), "Cunita de Hielo" (Pamela Rodriguez), "Sorriso de Jequitibá" (Hélio Ziskind), "Un Vals" (Luis Salinas), and "Cielito Lindo" (Marta Gómez). This is another wonderful compilation from Putumayo Kids, and a good introduction to Latin music for children.—
