Viewers learn about the various parts of the Mesozoic era, then dinosaur skeletons are introduced and simple facts about each featured creature are presented. The female host is accompanied by a male paleontologist who provides information in a friendly and easy-to-understand style. Viewers also visit a facility where fossil restoration takes place and learn various theories of dinosaur extinction.
