Gr 10 Up—Structured like the TV show The Apprentice and The Voice, two contestants vie for the same job in an advertising agency in this program that features a variety of techniques for winning a job interview. A coach advises best strategies for selling yourself. Shifting between the interviews and the coaching, a young woman and a young man observe and correct their responses. Highlights include the STAR method, describing the Situation, Task to be accomplished, Action taken, and Result. One obvious hurdle in a job interview is presenting one's strengths with little work background. To solve this, the two job seekers are told to discuss events in their lives that may reflect the company's strategies, missions, purpose, etc. Researching a firm's goals is essential before entering the interview, and the structure of an interview is provided to prepare the candidate for probable questions. Dramatizations appear realistic and the actors look credible. A strong addition to collections focusing on vocational guidance.—Robin Levin, Ft. Washakie School Library, WY
