Gr 7 Up—The importance of good sportsmanship in all sports is stressed in this Australian-made production. The information is well-organized and to the point, and the action of the sports never overwhelms the narration or the message. There are five segments: What is good sportsmanship?, Codes of conduct, Being a team player, Winners and losers, and Conflict resolution. These issues are addressed as they pertain to the players as well as the games' referees. Both the narrator and the other commentators are Australian, as are the sports (soccer/football, rugby) that are portrayed, and American viewers might have difficulty relating. While the information provided about teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship is important for all athletes, the Australian examples may not hold the attention of students.—Karen Alexander, Lake Fenton High School, Linden, MI
