PreK-Gr 4—Wilkinson addresses listeners directly throughout the presentations of these multicultural folktales. Stories from Native American tribes, Russia, Africa and Denmark are included. The tales are enjoyable, and Wilkinson uses amusing voices for the different characters in the stories, but the sound quality is mediocre. At times, words are muffled or unclear and some of the music sounds are shrill. The insert contains suggestions for ways children can play along with the tales and includes information about a website where the stories and other playable folktales can be obtained in print.—Cynthia Ortiz, Hackensack High School, NJ
