In this story, Irene leaves him in charge with a list of chores. However, Max has spring fever and that translates into mixing up all of her requests. He sweeps the lawn, plants the laundry, and mails the salad. While he has his head in the clouds, Coco the cat and Bebe the bird follow him around, putting everything to rights. This fun story has just enough text to highlight the illustrations and will appeal to youngsters. Max the duck has a case of spring fever. When owner Irene leaves him with a list of chores, Max dizzily mixes them up, like sweeping the grass and watering the floor. Luckily, Coco the cat and Bebe the parrot are there to undo Max's upside-down chores. The kooky illustrations of the cross-eyed spring-fever sufferers complement the giggle-inducing text.
