Five Funny Bunnies

K-Gr 2—In "Pie," Flossie, Homer, Henry, Little George, and Baby Sadie set out on a visit to Grandma, but their rambunctiousness leads to an unfortunate encounter with a berry pie. In "Tricks," the siblings try to outdo one another by showing off with scooters, jump ropes, and pogo sticks. However, they are upstaged by Baby Sadie, who takes her first hop that day. Finally, in "Naptime," eldest sister Flossie gets a taste of the frustrations of motherhood when she tries to put the younger ones down for a nap. Wilsdorf uses bright, child-friendly watercolors and inks to adorn the bunnies' outfits. Her illustrations are generally realistic and have a touch of whimsy.
