Gr 1–4—Los Angeles-based kid pop/rocker David Tobocman has chosen a theme of moving up and growing up on his third album for youngsters. Told primarily from the point of view of a kid, the original songs and lyrics are uncomplicated, memorable, and just plain fun. Highlights include instructions on what to do about boo-boo's ("The Owie Song"), a family vacation with no boundaries or limits ("Custom Family Spaceship"), a child's dream to be on a permanent treasure hunt ("Gonna Be a Garbage Man"), a non-stop venture 'round the track ("Run, Run Race Car"), and a celebration of things to see in the United States ("America's Our Country").
