PreS-Gr 4—Josh Levine's wonderful smooth jazz stylings enhance most of these 15 offerings—five original songs, two traditional numbers, and eight covers. Four of the songs are in Latin, reggae, and bluegrass styles, and six of the tracks are instrumental only. The performances are excellent, and the musicians utilize acoustic bass, boomwhackers, congas, piano, violin, piano, drums, trumpet, bongo guiroguasa, pots and pans, and other instruments. "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" and "Five Green and Speckled Frogs" are the traditional songs. The original numbers include "Technology," "A Real Bouquet," "Winding Road, "Movin' On," and "The Wheel Deal." The rest of the playlist includes "The Best Things in Life Are Free," "You're My Everything," "Mr. Chatterbox," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and others. The contents of this enhanced CD can be accessed on a computer for a short video montage of studio sessions, lyrics, Levine's bio, and more.
