Gr 6–8—An exciting book that allows readers to jump into a time machine and experience the 1960s. Through a theme park attraction, 16-year-old Amy is able to tune a TV to "channel 63" and experience 1963. Not only can she watch events unfolding, but she is also able to interact with the people of this time period. She soon falls in love with a boy from the past. This time-crossed relationship causes some problems for Amy, who is trying to escape from modern annoyances in her own time. In this third installment in the "Age of Amy" series, readers will enjoy following the teen down this rabbit hole of time travel, learning about the 1960s, and seeing the connections between issues and people across all time periods. Despite the seemingly unrealistic premise, Edwards skillfully weaves the story together with beliveable characters. A ideal series for middle school collections.—April Sanders, Spring Hill College, Mobile, AL
