Brewster Leads the Way

PreS-Gr 2—Ride the rails with this six-episode release of Disney Junior's train series Chuggington. Each 10-minute CGI animated segment is filled with fun and adventure and features a diverse cast. In "Brewster Leads the Way," Brewster saves the day using teamwork to move stuck cargo. In "Track Laying Brewster," he learns how to lay tracks safely when a sudden flash flood leaves other Chuggineers stranded. An emergency leaves Brewster in charge of teaching Hoot and Toot the rules of being a train in "Babysitting Brewster" with silly results. The Chuggineers get all cleaned up in preparation to meet the mayor when the bridge to the parade route starts to collapse in "Brewster Meets the Mayor." In "Poor Old Puffer Pete," the Chuggineers have a misunderstanding from eavesdropping. Finally, "Old Puffer Pete's Firebox" finds Pete, an old steam locomotive, needing a replacement part and confined to the hospital while everyone else is out having fun. Bonus features include a mini-episode, a character montage of Brewster, and a catchy music video. DVD-ROM features include coloring pages and activity sheets.
