Readers can decide if they are moved or unmoved by this information, although the importance of obeying hunting and conservation laws is strongly underlined. The photos are scenic and correspond to the text. Vocabulary words are bolded throughout. A "Signs" section describes how to identify if the topic animal was recently in the area, a valuable addition for students who might live closer than they think to these great big creatures.
