Beauty Land

Pre-S-Gr 5—Beauty Land relates the story of Jimmy and his sister Lulu being captured by an evil witch while searching for a way to the mythic Beauty Land. During their adventures, they also meet giants, mountain kings, and princesses. Dani's lovely, sultry voice perfectly handles the various musical styles, including folk, pop, doo-wop, rock, and boogie woogie. The other musicians perform beautifully on guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, bass, keyboard, accordion, saxophone, clarinet, flute, drums, and other percussion instruments. Several of these 14 songs encourage participatory movement such as hand clapping, jumping, and foot stomping.
