Each spread focuses on a single astrological sign, reiterating the information found on the wheel chart plus a short verse meant to highlight typical traits of each sign. The verses are full of possibility and the overall tone is reassuring and encouraging. However, some of the rhymes feel forced and some (e.g., rhyming “crowd” with “around”) do not succeed. Mola fills the pages with soft color and movement. Sharp-eyed readers will notice the planet associated with the sign somewhere in the picture, as well as a cameo of the sign’s symbol; the illustrations for Taurus show a cuddly bull at a tea party and another on an infant’s shirt. The children in the story range from infants to young children and present with a variety of skin tones.
