PreS-Gr 3—The sequel to Mr. Billy's (William Charles Grisack III) best-selling family album, Electric Bananas, this rocking collection is the 11th album to be released by him in 12 months. He opens the album with the title song (a rocking number with plenty of action), segues into a driving rock song about "James the Racecar Kid," slides into a funk-filled tune play on the word "who" ("Funky Hu"), rocks into the Bruce Springsteen-inspired anthem "Party Like a Rockstar," and bangs out a heavy metal version of the traditional song (If You're) "Happy and You Know It" in multiple languages. Other standouts include "Monkey, Monkey, Monkey Tale,", "RINGO" (a 1950s-sounding piggyback arrangement of "Bingo"), and the head-banging "I Go Bananas for Bananas." Mr. Billy composed about half of the dozen songs on the disc, and they all have great kid-appeal.—Stephanie Bange, Wright State University, Dayton, OH
