The majority of the book consists of player profiles on 22 well-known athletes in the National Football League. Kids who want to learn more about specific players who may not have their own dedicated biographies, such as Antonio Brown or Jamaal Charles, will be drawn to this title. The text is presented in a conversational tone that will engage young sports lovers. The mixed-media graphics are eye-catching and vibrant. However, the design is often cluttered and occasionally makes the text hard to read.
VERDICT An informative work for football fans and those new to the game. Consider for collections looking to bolster their sports sections.
