PreS-Gr 3—Opening with a loud, ripping rock and roll song about a boy and his first guitar ("A Boy and His Guitar"), Wisconsin-based Mister Billy (William Grisack III) performs a dozen songs sure to appeal to youngsters. Highlights include the story of the "Three Little Pigs" (set to the tune "Brick House" by the 1970's group, The Commodores); a techno-pop song about the popular game, Angry Birds ("Angry Birds Space"); a spaced-out ballad featuring the text of Daniel Kirk's book, Hush Little Alien; and an audience participation song, "Roar Like a Dinosaur." Additionally, Mister Billy growls out "Talk Like a Pirate Day" with Monty Harper, sings an amped-up "How Much Is that Doggie in the Window?," and slows it down with the classic Lennon/McCartney tune "Blackbird." Most of the songs included have been perfected over time in his live performances. Fortunately, he brings the high energy of the concert experience to the studio on each song. Fans will really dig this one.—Stephanie Bange, Wright State University, Dayton, OH
