This book might best fit in a parenting collection or be used by a school counselor seeking to help a child deal with anxiety—otherwise, an additional purchase.
Highly recommended. This delightful collection of Irish poetry for children, which includes some familiar poems and others new to discover, will appeal to young and old alike and is perfect for reading aloud. A welcome addition to all classroom and library collections.
This Irish import will please children who want an over-the-top bully book jam-packed with adventure. This novel is wacky, awesome, and terrifying. It hits the right balance of ridiculous and real, but a sibling trying to kill a sibling is still intense and may be a specific fit for prepared readers.
An energetic addition to all collections, but it’s not all fun and games; this could spark serious conversations about rights we take for granted and lead to a conversation on civics. Or, just enjoy the humor, the diversity, and the inclusion of so many different kinds of children in the pursuit of happiness.
