Though the repetition of “snow” in every three out of four lines gets somewhat monotonous, this is a charming seasonal story, especially for places that have lots of snow in winter.

While not particularly helpful for research purposes, young readers with an interest in the world around them will heartily enjoy this title. A suggested purchase for most collections, and a good choice for those needing a gift for young naturalists.
This is a message-driven work but certainly a message that still needs to be delivered either in a classroom setting or during a parent-child teaching moment. A worthwhile acquisition
