Though there is some overlap of information among these four books, these well-crafted guides are sure to be popular among browsers and practitioners.
These two yoga books focus on alignment, breathing, and safety
while offering step-by-step instructions for the poses as well as
their benefits. Photographs of girls executing the poses illustrate
the texts, and, for difficult poses, a smaller inset photo is
included with a modification. The clarity of their presentation
makes these titles a useful resource for the target audience.

This encyclopedic series gives detailed information about a wide
range of endangered animals. Front and back matter explains the
context and threat levels, while two dozen spreads each feature an
excellent photograph, packed paragraphs of text, and a data panel
for a single animal such as Siberia's Baikal seal. Though the theme
is inherently cautionary, conservation measures are also
documented. Reading list, websites. Glos., ind. Review covers the
following Facts at Your Fingertips: The World of Endangered Animals
titles: Africa, Australia and Southeast Asia,
Europe, North and South America, and South and
Central Asia.
Each book contains a brief, overly generalized text that introduces
readers to a random selection of vague facts (e.g., in
Football: "The largest stadiums in the United States are for
college teams"). The clean book design and large color photographs
are attractive, but readers looking for an interesting, coherent
collection of "great moments, records, and facts" will need to look
elsewhere. There are three other spring 2015 books in this series.
Glos., ind. Review covers these Great Sports titles:
Football, Gymnastics, and Hockey.
Robinson and Woods share the stories of two athletes
breaking racial barriers in their respective sports. World
Cup covers the growth of women's soccer to its record number of
viewers for the 1999 U.S. World Cup win. Accessible texts, lots of
color photos, and related sidebars provide compelling time
capsules. There are three other spring 2015 books in this series.
