The average book prices are produced annually by SLJ in partnership with Follett and Baker & Taylor.

Here are the average book prices released in 2023, produced annually by SLJ in partnership with Follett and Baker & Taylor.

The data, based on figures supplied by Follett and Baker & Taylor, shows average list prices for books (children’s titles, young adult books, graphic novels, paperback, and hardcover editions), which have been released during the time frames listed.

Separate calculations have been supplied for the school market and the public library market.
