Creation, Noah's Ark, and Other Bible Stories: Volume 1

K-Gr 4—"Holy Moly" is a Sunday School curriculum developed by Sparkhouse, a Christian resource provider and a division of Aubsburg Fortress, the publishing house of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Both discs can work in tandem with the "Spark Sunday School for Kids" books but can also stand alone to teach Old Testament stories or be shown in conjunction with other curricula. Each story is presented in black-and-white coloring book-like animation, with splashes of colors when God's power and glory are revealed. God and biblical characters speak in a gibberish that is effectively clarified with the visuals and sound effects. Children are likely to walk away remembering the story and using their own words to describe it. Hard copies of the storybooks and videos can be purchased, and materials can be downloaded from the Sparkhouse website with an online subscription.
