Three author illustrators represented graphic literature at SLJ's Leadership Summit— armed with sharpies.
Jarrett Krosoczka, creator of the Lunch Lady graphic novel series, George O'Connor, author and illustrator of the Olympians series, and Eric Wight, creator of Frankie Pickle, led this fun, interactive drawfest resulting in a three-panel narrative on a literacy theme.
And we learned a new word: 'surprisicals.'
