REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED
School Library Journal presents our biggest and best Day of Dialog yet!
SLJ’s annual daylong event brings librarians, publishers, vendors and authors together to discuss the latest trends and hottest books in the world of children’s and young adult literature. This year will feature an opening keynote delivered by Jacqueline Woodson, author of the forthcoming Brown Girl Dreaming (August 2014) and a special lunchtime appearance by Garth Nix, author of the Abhorsen Chronicles.
Join us for panels exploring wordless picture books, storied lives, unreliable narrators in YA literature and diversity in middle grade fiction. Get a first look at exciting titles due out this fall and walk away with books and goodies from our sponsors. From magic to memoirs, there’s something for everyone.
The event includes a full day of panels and presentations as well as breakfast, lunch, and a closing reception with plenty of opportunities for author signings and networking!
