San Diego Mayor Proposes New Budget and After-School Tutoring Program in Public Libraries

On April 22, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced plans for his new “One San Diego” budget that is the highest budget San Diego libraries has seen since 2004 and allocates $500K from the libraries’ acquisitions budget to a new after-school tutoring program.
