The book will chronicle women who "take up Wonder Woman’s iconic mantle and work in the fields of science, social justice activism, diplomacy, and more" and will profile female public figures including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Serena Williams, and Greta Thunberg.

“Wonder Woman’s commitment to justice and compassion has inspired fans for decades,” Anderson said in a statement. The author has an original YA graphic novel about Wonder Woman's teen years, Wonder Woman: Tempest Tossed, coming out in June. “I am thrilled to help bring this book of real-life Wonder Women to the world.”

The graphic novel profiles will be created by an "all-star cast of women authors and artists," who will be announced at a later date. The book is set to be released on December 1.

I really hope the cover won't be as shown. I'm in a PK-8 school library without much space and if I put a book on prominent display with *ss in the subtitle, I'm going to hear it. But I'd really like to be able to put it up high and proud! Which I can't if they insist on using a word that doesn't fit the vulgarity guidelines in the comment policy here!
