“Caldetatts”: Santat and 2015 Caldecott Committee Members Get Inked

Following the Youth Media Awards in January and the conclusion of the ALA Annual Conference in San Francisco, several librarians and fellow book-loving industry folk cemented their love of the winning and honored titles by getting Caldecott-themed body art.

Alexander and Santat Win 2015 Newbery, Caldecott Medals

Kwame Alexander’s The Crossover and Dan Santat’s The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend took home the medals for the Newbery and the Caldecott awards, respectively. Jandy Nelson’s I’ll Give You the Sun captured the Printz award.
