DESCRIPTION: The City of San Diego Public Library now has openings for dynamic, solution- oriented professionals to become part of our innovative and dedicated senior management team.

Supervising Librarians:

• Manage the Central Library, including planning for our state of the art new Central Library opening 2013
• Manage a major function for the Central Library Division
• Manage a region in the Branch Libraries Division

We are looking for energetic leaders with strong organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong customer service focus, who has the ability to build and lead effective and cohesive work teams that affect change. If you possess these qualities, are politically savvy and not afraid to step out of your comfort zone, then we would like to hear from you!

Employees in the librarian series who have obtained an MLS/MLIS Degree are eligible to receive an additional compensation of 5%.
