Teens Top 10 Voting Starts Early
Dodie Ownes -- School Library Journal, 08/19/2009
Teens’ Top Ten is a “teen choice” list that enables kids to nominate their favorite books of last year. Nominators are members of teen book groups in 15 school and public libraries around the country, as well as the Interesting Reader Society, which contributes reviews to SLJTeen. Nominations were posted on April 16, 2009, Support Teen Literature Day during National Library Week, April 13-19. Teens nationwide can now vote on their favorite titles from August 24 to September 18. Winners will be announced in a webcast featuring many of World Wrestling Entertainment’s superstars and divas during Teen Read Week, October 18–24.
