The Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF) is all about inclusion: “an attitude and approach that seeks to ensure that every person, regardless of ability or background, can meaningfully participate in all aspects of life.” Now in its third year, the MEAF Inclusion Champion Award contest is looking for worthy candidates who have made significant efforts to promote the inclusion of youth with disabilities. The winner will receive a trophy and $1,000 to contribute to the charity of his choice. And the award will be presented at the annual Kids Included Together conference in March 2011. Instructions for making a nomination can be found on the MEAF Web site. Nominations must be received by May 1.
