Speak Up About ‘Speak'

Sure, all the buzz may be about Laurie Halse Anderson’s new title Wintergirls, which is being released tomorrow, March 19. Could it be her best book since Speak? Through an interesting twist of fate, 2009 marks the 10th anniversary of Speak, resulting in a special 10th-anniversary edition. The updated version has several extras, including a beautiful poem culled from reader responses that Laurie received via email. The Penguin Young Readers Group is asking readers of Speak to keep sharing their feelings and experiences at the Speak Up About Speak blog.
