Worth a Thousand Words: Books for the Youngest Readers

Presented by: Blue Manatee Press, Clavis, Minedition, Phaidon & School Library Journal
Event Date & Time: Wednesday, October 11th, 2017, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM ET / 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM PT

Nothing tells a story like a picture, and early readers thrive on visual stimulation. Join moderator Maria Alegre and a panel of children’s books publishers as they discuss upcoming picture and board books to entice future lifelong readers. Pancakes and yawns, gardens and cats, and the familiar childhood navigation through family, fears and exploration – this webcast offers big titles for the littlest minds to explore. Attendees will also gain a deeper understanding of how and why these publishers thoughtfully tailor their collections for this special age group.
