On Saturday, November 23, the Chicago Public Library celebrated families learning together with its 20th annual “Bookamania 2013: All Families, All Year,” a free, daylong children’s book festival engaging children in reading, learning, and play activities. Parents and caregivers were given the opportunity to participate in events offering early literacy instructions for adults. The event also featured authors such as Mac Barnett, Kevin Henkes, and René Colato Laínez.
