Doesn’t it seem that wherever romance goes, mayhem follows? And we all know that life as a teenager is full of both of these!

Join SLJTeen‘s Dodie Ownes as she moderates a free one-hour webcast featuring titles presentations from Soho Teen, Tor Teen, and Harlequin Teen, who will offer sneak previews of their new titles for Fall 2013 and 2014. You won’t believe some of the cover art—shocking, sexy, and sensational—that will have your young adult readers picking the book display clean.

  • Soho Teen will be sharing Relic, the first in The Books of Eva series from Heather Terrell, will certainly pique the interest of fans of Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games; from veteran novelist Jacquelyn Mitchard, What We Lost in the Dark, explores the lives of three teens, two with a deadly allergy to sunlight, who witness a murder; and will acquaint you to their Alex Award-winners, The Night Birds, by Thomas Maltman, and Caring is Creepy, by David Zimmerman.
  • You know Ender’s Game is coming to the big screen, so you’ll want to have the movie tie-in from Tor Teen available for your readers. We’ll also be hearing about the Tor Teen’s new Goddess War series from Kendare Blake (Anna Dressed in Blood), which is kicked off with Antigoddess. And weenie fans, god bless ‘em, will be delighted to know that Dave Lubar’s Wipeout of the Wireless Weenies will be on shelves soon.
  • Harlequin Teen will be focusing on their  “5 Star Reads” line-up which will include Through the Zombie Glass, Iron Traitor, Crash Into You, Pawn and White Hot Kiss.

Join us on October 1 for 60 minutes of non-stop YA fiction mirth and mayhem, and if you can’t make it, don’t despair. The webcast will be archived shortly after the live event, and will be made available for on-demand viewing for three months.
