Our children depend on school librarians and the school libraries to help implement curriculum, core standards so students will enhance their reading, writing and research skills. We've needed a bill like this for a long time. It is long time overdue and I hope it gets passed because our administrators dissolve all school libraries. Many jobs have been eliminated because majority of schools feel that spending money on books and library materials cost too much money. This is the 21st century and school libraries play an important role in schools and children's lives. Thank you for pushing to get this bill passed. I surely hope this bill gets passed.
