I think these resources are also very useful for teachers who have Muslim students in their classes (whether from the U.S. or from other countries). Such teachers are in the best position of building positive relationships with families and creating an environment for respectful classroom discussions among peers. In addition, educators and school leaders may need to address logistical or scheduling questions about prayer, holidays, and fasting, particularly if a large number of students are involved. 
Our Colorín Colorado article about cultural and religious holidays provides some more general tips for addressing religious diversity in the classroom, particularly in classes with English language learners.  Thanks again for a great resource!
