As a junior high librarian, I appreciated Jim Giblin's books through the years. And as a two-time participant in the Highlights Summer Workshops, I know how valuable they are when it comes to teaching us how to write. Thanks to much that I learned there, my 35th book, "Sackets Harbor Powder Monkey - War of 1812" was published last July. May God bless Mr. Giblin for his generosity and his encouragement to all who will profit by receiving these scholarships. Wonderful news!
