Touch and Go Lives!

TG Header 2011 ret Touch and Go Lives! After a brief hiatus during the transition to our new website, our app reviews are back—with a few changes. First, you’ll notice they have moved from School Library Journal’s blog roll into a column, pushing out in our Extra Helping enewsletter. Archived reviews can be found on the website under “Blogs and Columns.” However, to ensure you receive all of our postings, be sure to add “Touch and Go” to your RSS feed.

We’ll continue to highlight our favorite apps in a monthly column in SLJ’s print issues, and “Best of the Year” selections each December. As before, our reviews offer critical look at a broad range of book and reference apps for children and teens produced by digital publishers both large and small. In the column, you’ll find thematic groupings of app releases, along with interviews with people in the field and commentary.
