The memory of this book has stayed with me forever. I am now in my 33rd year of teaching and have all of the books in my classroom for my students to read. When I did, my husband read all of the Warner books out loud to our youngest son. That son intends tocarry on the tradition and read them aloud to his own little boy, as soon as he is old enough to comprehend. Those stories empower children, and I'm glad they are being reissued.
